IS-Practice played an important role in the writing, completing, and submitting the MAGHRENOV proposal in the FP7 call  of December 2012. The project proposal aims to support the Mediterranean region in the field of sustainable energy. Coordinated by the KIC InnoEnergy, MAGHRENOV would bring convergence between EU and MAGHREB MPC innovation system in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency. It is focused on the renewable energy and energy efficiency that will play a central role in the sustainable development of the Mediterranean region chasing the goal of climate neutral Europe. The proposition highlights the necessity of new technologies and applied innovations in the field of sustainable energy.

The MAGHRENOV proposal has been successful during the first evaluation and the project negotiation with the European Commission is currently under way. MAGHRENOV will be implemented over a period of 3 years. IS-practice will be responsible for the project management and will assist the project coordinator.
